Most Brandon systems went in during the 2018-2022 installation boom, which means the first wave of clamp, connector and inverter issues is arriving right about now. A full inspection catches them while they are still cheap.

Brandon sits between two of the busiest corridors in the county. Tyre and brake particulate settles as a grey film that cuts output several percent before it is visible from the driveway.
Spring pollen load
Oak and pine pollen blankets Brandon subdivisions for six weeks each spring. It cakes hardest along the lower edge of each module where morning dew pools.
Construction dust
Ongoing development along Bloomingdale and Lithia Pinecrest keeps fine sand and limerock dust in the air on dry-season days.
Predominantly architectural shingle at 5/12 to 6/12 pitch on single and two-story subdivision homes, with pockets of flat concrete tile in the newer Providence Lakes and Bloomingdale sections. Access is generally easy and pole-friendly, which keeps Brandon pricing at the lower end of our per-panel range.
We inspect the inverter and any optimisers or microinverters for fault codes, error history and abnormal operating temperature, open and inspect the combiner box, and check DC and AC disconnects. Connectors are checked for corrosion and correct seating, and grounding and bonding are verified end to end.
Rail alignment, mid- and end-clamp torque, standoff and flashing condition, conduit supports and roof penetration sealant. Florida wind loading finds anything that was under-torqued at installation, and finding it during an inspection is dramatically cheaper than finding it after a storm.
Brandon is inside Hillsborough County, so there is no travel fee on any visit.
