Fast-build neighborhoods mean fast-install solar. We inspect the things a rushed install gets wrong: clamp torque, wire management, flashing seals and inverter configuration.
Active construction dust
Riverview has been under continuous development for a decade. Limerock and fill sand from adjacent lots settles on panels as a gritty film that will scratch glass if it is dry-brushed, which is exactly why we never dry-brush.
Agricultural drift from the south
Fields toward Balm and Wimauma send fine soil dust north on dry-season winds.
Pollen and pine
Preserve buffers between Riverview subdivisions are pine-heavy, and pine pollen is sticky enough to cement dust in place.
Overwhelmingly new-construction architectural shingle at 5/12 pitch, with builder-grade flat tile in parts of Triple Creek and Panther Trace. Roofs are young, clean-edged and easy to work, so nearly all Riverview jobs are done from the ground.
We inspect the inverter and any optimisers or microinverters for fault codes, error history and abnormal operating temperature, open and inspect the combiner box, and check DC and AC disconnects. Connectors are checked for corrosion and correct seating, and grounding and bonding are verified end to end.
Rail alignment, mid- and end-clamp torque, standoff and flashing condition, conduit supports and roof penetration sealant. Florida wind loading finds anything that was under-torqued at installation, and finding it during an inspection is dramatically cheaper than finding it after a storm.
Riverview is inside Hillsborough County, so there is no travel fee on any visit.
