Wooded Valrico lots mean squirrels with easy roof access from overhanging branches. Once they are under the array they nest, chew DC wiring and bring parasites with them. Perimeter mesh ends it permanently.
Agricultural dust
Field work east of Valrico raises fine soil that drifts west on dry-season afternoons. It is heavier and more mineral than road dust and settles in a visible tan layer.
Mature tree canopy
Established oaks and camphor on Valrico's larger lots drop leaf litter and sap directly onto arrays, and shade patterns change the whole soiling picture panel to panel.
Well-water irrigation
Many Valrico properties run on private wells with high iron content. Overspray leaves rust-tinted staining that requires pure water and patience, not scrubbing.
Larger custom and semi-custom homes on quarter-acre-plus lots, mostly architectural shingle with a healthy share of concrete tile in River Hills and Diamond Hill. Steeper pitches and taller two-story elevations than Brandon, so pole work needs more setup room.
Rigid galvanized steel mesh with a black powder-coat finish, sized to the exact perimeter of your array so it reads as part of the system rather than a bolt-on cage. The mesh is secured with stainless steel clips that grip the panel frame directly. Nothing is drilled into your roof and no penetrations are created that could later leak.
Guarding an occupied array just traps the problem inside. Every install starts with removing nests, droppings and debris from under the modules, sanitising the deck area, and checking for chewed conductors or damaged conduit while we have the access.
