Direct Gulf salt spray
Homes on the Gulf side of the island, especially around Bean Point and along Gulf Drive, take a near-daily salt mist that forms a hard film within weeks of a clean if left alone.
Bay-side salt and marine growth
Sarasota Bay-facing homes near the north end see slightly less direct spray but more biological growth thanks to calmer water and higher humidity along the shoreline.
Salt-air metal roof staining

Elevated stilt homes change our approach — poles often need to reach both up and around a wraparound deck rather than straight off the ground.
Tap water in Hillsborough County is hard. When it dries on glass it leaves behind the exact mineral spotting you were trying to remove. We run every drop through a reverse-osmosis and deionization stack until the total dissolved solids read effectively zero. Pure water is aggressively thirsty — it pulls dirt into suspension on contact and then evaporates leaving nothing behind. No soap, no surfactant, no residue for the next dust storm to stick to.
Panel glass is tempered but the anti-reflective coating on top of it is not indestructible. We use soft natural-bristle brush heads fed with a constant flow of pure water, on carbon-fibre telescoping poles that reach most residential arrays from ground level. Less weight on your roof, no ladders leaned against your gutters, and zero abrasive pads or pressure washing anywhere near your modules.
Anna Maria Island sits outside Hillsborough County, so a $50–$100 travel fee applies depending on routing. Booking alongside a neighbour usually removes it.
