Lake-adjacent humidity film
Homes ringing Lake Padgett and the Connerton lake system stay damp longer each morning than drier subdivisions, which lets pollen and dust bind into a film rather than blow off.
Spring oak and pine pollen
The tree cover retained around Bexley and Sunlake drops heavy pollen for six or so weeks each spring, coating the lower edge of every module.
Active construction dust
With Connerton and Bexley still building out new phases, fine limerock and sand dust from nearby cleared lots is a routine soiling source.
Almost entirely new-construction concrete tile and architectural shingle at 5/12 to 6/12 pitch, built in the last decade. Roofs are young, uniform and easy to reach, which keeps most Land O' Lakes jobs quick and ground-based.
Rigid galvanized steel mesh with a black powder-coat finish, sized to the exact perimeter of your array so it reads as part of the system rather than a bolt-on cage. The mesh is secured with stainless steel clips that grip the panel frame directly. Nothing is drilled into your roof and no penetrations are created that could later leak.
Guarding an occupied array just traps the problem inside. Every install starts with removing nests, droppings and debris from under the modules, sanitising the deck area, and checking for chewed conductors or damaged conduit while we have the access.
Land O' Lakes sits outside Hillsborough County, so a $50–$100 travel fee applies depending on routing. Booking alongside a neighbour usually removes it.
